Welcome to 9 Day Author. By using this website and platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. User Content & Book Cover License

You retain all ownership rights to the manuscripts, ideas, text, images, prompts, book covers, and other content you create or upload through 9 Day Author. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your intellectual property to 9 Day Author.

By using 9 Day Author, you grant 9 Day Author a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and publicly showcase images of book covers created through the platform for the purpose of advertising, demonstrating, promoting, and marketing the 9 Day Author service, including on our website, social media channels, presentations, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

This license applies only to the use of book cover images for promoting 9 Day Author. It does not grant 9 Day Author ownership of your work or the right to publish, sell, license, or distribute your manuscript or represent your book as our own.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you upload to the platform and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

3. AI-Generated Content

9 Day Author uses artificial intelligence to assist with brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, formatting, and other publishing-related tasks. AI-generated content is provided as a creative assistance tool and may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or material that is not suitable for your intended use.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving all content before publishing, distributing, or otherwise relying upon it. 9 Day Author does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, legality, or suitability of AI-generated content and recommends that users independently verify all information.

5. Refunds

Because 9 Day Author provides immediate access to its software, AI tools, and digital publishing features upon purchase, subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

We understand that exceptional situations may arise. Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of 9 Day Author, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

6. No Publishing Guarantee

9 Day Author provides software, AI-assisted tools, and guidance to help authors prepare books for publication. However, we do not guarantee that any book will be accepted by Amazon KDP or any other publishing platform.

Publishing platforms maintain their own review processes, content policies, formatting requirements, and acceptance standards, all of which may change over time. Authors are solely responsible for reviewing their work and ensuring it complies with the requirements of the publishing platform they choose.

We do not guarantee publishing approval, book sales, rankings, royalties, reviews, financial results, or any other publishing outcome.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, misuse the platform, interfere with the operation or security of the service, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or otherwise create risk for 9 Day Author or its users.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform may end immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms, including ownership, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination, will remain in effect.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 9 Day Author is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9 Day Author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, publishing delays, business interruption, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your use of 9 Day Author is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving all content created with the platform before publishing or distributing it.
